Kier Travel and Works Update – 2 March 2017
A30 – Temporary closure of Cardinham Junction (aka Cardinham Gap) with Airfield Road – Completed
Please be advised that the current work affecting access to the Cardinham area via the ‘Cardinham Gap’ has been completed early and will be open to traffic again from this evening. This also includes all work that required the temporary closure of the ‘gap’ on Tuesday 7th March.
Please note: Due to extra work now programmed Airfield Road junction with the A30 will need to be closed between 9.00am and 5.00pm on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th March. The closure is required for site safety to protect our workforce whilst carrying out works on the new traffic island.
Cardinham Gap will remain open at all times – this closure only affects access on Airfield Road (north end) junction with the A30.
When the Airfield Road closure is in place the diversion will remain the same for A30 traffic via Lidcutt Road for the Cardinham area. Traffic requiring the A30 will be diverted to use Lidcutt Road.
Kier apologise for any inconvenience caused during these works. If further details are required please contact Mick Martin – Kier Public Liaison Officer on 07790 560 809 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
